How did City not get investigated more quickly given the amounts of money involved? The Premier league needs to get called out on all this to save the game in England. City fans and all football fans duped by rich "kids" buying success.
From a fellow scouser and red, that was nearly spot on. The part where I question is if this owner has no clue, then why did the recruitment get all the guys from Barcelona (who cheated there) to run the football side of things. Then after the Mancini double contract, hire Pep who was hip deep in all the Barcelona cheating. I argue they knew exactly what they were doing from the top guy down.

This monologue is EXACTLY what Khaldoon was referring to when he said â I would not accept for my club to be used as a diversionary tactic by other clubs for their poor investment decisionsâ. They all had a chance to play and win and lost most times.

If you were accused of a crime a serious crime would you want to be judged by a 3 man so called 'independent' committee?
People brought together by those bringing the charges. Really, Independent?
So those bringing the charges employ individual's that select the 3 panel members of said committee. They choose, or choose the chooser of the judges, they just call them independent even though their names are withheld and that's acceptable for independence?
These are members that still have not been revealed to my knowledge. So again the committee is put together one way or another by the Prem, those bringing the charges. Incidentally The KC who chairs this committee is a fan of one of Man City's rival's, I shall not name them but they are also a member of Arsenal FC.
So no conflict of interest then? The Prem are the court, the judge and the jury (3 man jury), less to go wrong I suppose.
Would you in a law abiding country want to go through a court like this if you were accused of a serious crime?
Would you want one of your family, or yourself to be subjected to the constant hounding of the media and any Tom Dick or Harry for 2 and a bit years.?
All via a process that looks more inhouse than it does independent, and a verdict delivered by 3 man committee, the chair of which is a fan of a rival club..
Isn't that a bit like one of the witnesses of the prosecution also being on the jury. And the names of the committee protected by anonymity (as far as I could find).
Sorry gentlemen but there is a stink. I'm sat in the Prem's court thinking this isn't right this guy is adamant he's innocent, yet it's allowed for those bringing the charges against him to choose the judges and the chair of a 3 man committee. Who checks the nature and validity of the claim of independent? Who represents the defendant on the independent committee?
Then to top all of this, the news off the guilt is issued via leaked information from a journalist. And for a case that is supposed to be being done behind closed door and with high confidentiality. Really, and look what it has lead to, media and social media lynch mob's. 'Burn the witch' stupidity.
Anyone else and I am betting the cry of 'injustice' would ring out. Especially if it were them or someone they loved being judged in this foul manner.
As far as I'm concerned this, amateur, one sided manner and from the stink of the trail it's leaving, completely vile way of treating anyone has wrong tattooed on it from top to bottom.

For me the prosecution needs to be put on the stand.

Liverpool would have won the league with 100 points, been invincible and down the double with the champions league in that 18/19 season. Okay I've heard a similar story from hundreds of people so I'm not quite sure what separates this one, really.
Whilst we can't take away the actual event from these Shitty "fans," we can piss all over their memories. I for one know that if Arsenal got caught cheating for the Invincibles season, or any of our other cups or leagues, i would not be looking back at those memories fondly. So yeah, fuck 'em, strip the titles, leave them vacant as a reminder to the biggest cheats in footballing history.

Not a fan of Grizz despite us being Liverpool supporters. But that was a Stone Cold beatdown.
People need to stop giving them the grace of "you've got the memories, no one can take them away" and here's why. The cheating their club has engaged in has robbed every fan of English football of 15 years of honest competition. None of us know what the outcome of anything would have been. It's all tainted. So, respectfully, f**k them and their memories.
All of this is just emotional opinions. None of you are the custodians of other football clubs. I think Grizz forgets his club hacked City's scouting software and the next season Klopp bought players and won trophies. Was their punishment the same as Soton's for spying? No – they just paid a ÂŁ1m compensation claim to City. I bet Soton would have loved to pay a ÂŁ1m compensation payment to ensure they got into the PL.
Also – no disresepct to Grizz – but he isn't a KC, nor does he know what's going to happen. Don't forget – LFC/AFC/MUFC should have won titles as they were well ahead – then threw them away. If City finished 2nd or 3rd in those seasons – noboby would be getting so emotional about seasons that City weren't charged for 2018-2026. If at The High Court they fail – proper City fans will feel let down – but not until then.
