Arteta is more obsessed about keeping clean sheets than playing football. How do expect the best from your attackers when their basic instruction before every match is to defend and just keep possession. This is the same reason he refuses to play Dowman, cos he doesn't seem to trust Dowman's defensive qualities. Eze is also playing with the same lack of trust.

Just my opinion. Noni & Zolis need to rotate on the left & Saka & Dowman on the right. Eze shouldn't be on the wing. He should be rotating with Ødegaard. Eze is a 10. Max needs game time.
This side is crying out for someone to run with the ball and play of the almost static side, that guy is not Saka he can hardly bloody walk let alone run
We need to have a serious discussion about the quality in the league atm. ManCity get smacked at home against the European champions but win 7/7. Arsenal play the worst brand of football, get outplayed and outcoached by Brighton but are on 6/7.

Arteta knows that the club have let him down this summer. He was clearly meant to have a new striker and new Left winger and the club never delivered that.
So he’s playing percentage football. Lean into the teams best quality and that’s the structure and defense.
