The red of the second shirt is the leather covers from from most books made in the golden literature era of Spain. The whole "off-white" shirt is a book. Brilliant design.

Where did you get the blue on the shoulders is a reference to that away kit? Navy blue has almost always been a staple in the Spanish home kit (mainly the shorts and socks)

The 2018 one was beautiful. It actually didn't have purple on it. It was blue, but mixed with the red looked like purple. We still loved that symbolism of it, honouring the Republic. The problem is that in 2018 did a very poor performance so…
